The quality on modern large TV's is really poor but I still enjoyed it.Ĭan't believe this site is still around too. ![]() Wish it would get picked up by Netflix so that they'd go ahead and bother re-scanning the masters. Bad guys always have Oliver dead to rights and he deflects bullets with his bow haha Not sure if any of you watch the Arrow but it really made me think of that. That scene with the old lady mounty deflecting bullets with her sword was hilarious. I loved these two episodes especially the second one. I tried to register for the forums but was told my username was taken, turned out I registered nearly 10 years ago asking questions on buying the DVD's! I finally got around to watching them years later. The actual location of the wreckage of the Fitzgerald is 46 degrees, 59 minutes, 9 seconds north by 85 degrees, 6 minutes, 6 seconds west. One of the most dramatic moments, in my opinion, was when Fraser tells the villain that they are over the site of the Madkenzie's sinking. But the point that stirred me most was the coordinates given for the Mackenzie - Thatcher figures out that the numbers "47-85" are the coordinates for Ray's and Benton's location. Half of the Fitzgerald's crew were from Ohio. That was a tragedy that still holds sad memories for thousands of people, especially in the Midwest. I would love to have seen how that was filmed! But on the poignant side, the description of the last voyage of the fictitious Robert Mackenzie got to my heart because it was so reminiscent of the real-life sinking of the Edmund Fitzgerald in 1975. It had the usual scenes of improbablity and impossibility, (Benton's and Ray's escape from the sinking ship, for instance) and I absolutely love the Bounty attacking the "ghost ship". Mounty on the Bounty is one of my favorite episodes. All reports and concerns are kept strictly confidential.
